The post composer puts an image you already have on Instagram, without generating anything new. Pick the image, write the caption, choose the Instagram account, then save it as a draft, schedule it, or publish it now. Plans: Professional and VIP. Cost: free, no credits.
Publishing to Instagram is rolling out account by account while our Meta app approval completes. If Schedule or Publish now is not yet enabled on your account, contact support and we will switch it on for you.

Before you start

  • Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account to the brand. See Connect Instagram. You can write and save a draft without one, but scheduling and publishing need a connected account.

Open the composer

You can start from any of these places:
  • IG Content: the From my images or Upload buttons beside the tabs.
  • Generator or Copier: open an image and click Create Instagram post.
  • Saved ads: the send icon on any saved ad.

Create the post

1

Choose the image

Click Choose image. The window has five tabs:
  • Saved: your saved ads. Filter by brand or search folder names.
  • Generated and Copier: images you made with those tools. Filter by brand.
  • Upload: a JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB.
  • Ad Library: other businesses’ ads, shown for inspiration. You can look at them but not post them.
2

Crop it if Instagram needs you to

Instagram only accepts images between portrait 4:5 and landscape 1.91:1. If your image is taller or wider than that, a crop window opens with 4:5, 1:1 and 1.91:1 shapes. For an image already on a post, click Crop image in the warning above the form.
3

Write the caption

Counters under the caption show where you are against Instagram’s limits: 2,200 characters, 30 hashtags and 20 mentions. The preview on the right shows the post with your caption.
4

Pick the Instagram account

Choose which connected Instagram account the post goes to.
5

Save, schedule or publish

  • Save draft keeps it for later.
  • Schedule posts it at the date, time and time zone you pick.
  • Publish now asks you to confirm the account, then posts it straight away.
A scheduled post can be taken off the schedule with Unschedule. It stays as a draft.

Shared with your team

Drafts and scheduled posts belong to your account, not to the person who made them. Everyone on your team sees and can edit, schedule or remove them, and they stay with the account when someone leaves.

Scheduled posts

Preview email. Five minutes before a scheduled post goes out, the person who scheduled it gets an email with a preview and a Cancel link. If that person has left the team, the account owner gets it instead. The post publishes on time unless someone cancels it. Any teammate’s connection works. A post publishes through the Instagram account connected to its brand by anyone on your team, so it still goes out when the person who wrote it is away. A post set to a specific Instagram account only ever publishes to that account. Disconnecting Instagram. If you disconnect the Instagram account a brand publishes through, and nobody else on the team has that brand connected, the brand’s scheduled posts are marked as needing a reconnect instead of being skipped quietly. The posts, captions and images are kept. Reconnect the account before the scheduled time and they go out as planned.

Troubleshooting

The post needs an image, a caption within Instagram’s limits, and a connected Instagram account that does not need reconnecting. Publishing also requires the Professional or VIP plan.
Open Settings → Connections and reconnect the account. A scheduled post stays scheduled while you do.
Sometimes Instagram does not say whether a post went out. Raddivus will not post it again on its own. Check the account on Instagram first: if the post is not there, click Schedule or Publish now and confirm it is not on Instagram.
